Smith & Wesson Refinish or dont bother?

if it is still fully functional, heck i would leave it exactly as it is. thats just me though. all of that wear and tear is added character. your father left his mark on that gun, if you restore it, you take away its history. thats just my opinion. if it is inoperable, yeah i would have it fixed. hope youre happy with your decision.
