In the movie, American Beauty, who was the one that pulled the trigger on Lester Burnham (Kevin Spacey)?

it was his neighbor , because he (the neighbor )was actually a repressed gay man and was filled with shame about it .. so once he got turned down by lester for his son in his mind anyway he snapped . the wife is just going crazy at the end . its actually rather vauge are they in fact lesters clothes? from the way the movie is i would say 1 of 2 things happened .. 1 she saw the aftermath of him dead on the table and and just broke down .. cuz she was thinking of doing the same thing .. 2 she was just thinking of killing him and struggeling with the idea and hadnt seen him dead .. like it just skipped to show her mabye earlier that day or right when she got home b4 she went into the kitchen .. .. .. the movie is a brilliant work of art and not all things need to make sense with art dear ,, remember that .. its about feeling .. if it makes you confuzed.. then you feel confuzed .. dig .. embrace it . then go watch stanly kubricks movies to really embrace confusion . lol .
