I think I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome! What do I do?!! 10 points!!?
posture is the key;; if you know the diagnosis, I'm surprised you don't know what to do;; anyhow... the first thing is to quit drooping, your shoulders are pinching into your nerve supply (in front of your armpit) therefore, when you go to sleep, try lying completely flat on your bed with arms a little away from your sides & palms up;; you need exercises to stretch your pect area & narrow (strengthen) your region between your shoulder blades, like standing in a doorway, holding onto the doorsill & leaning forward, or stepping forward;; squeezing your shoulder blades together may help too;; when you are seated, SIT TALL, with shoulders down & place elbows @ your side, draw hands away from you keeping elbows @ your side & hold for a while;; you need to get your posture in check... if you really have a hard time, ask your doc to set you up with a therapist (physical).
