Which pregnancy test results should i take notice of?

hello everyone im a bit confused about whats going on! I'v been tryin for alomst a year now to become pregnant but recently iv been feeling rather strange, sore , slightly sick, tired etc so i took a pregnancy test last night and it came out positive! i was so happy! i wasnt quite late on my period as it is due anytime between today and saturday. so i went to the gp today and did a test and it came back negative and i was gutted but the gp said that it could be to early as the test i had done at home was able to tell 4 days before period is due. so i had to make an appointment next week. but against what everyone said i went straight to the pharmacy ant bought a clear blue test which came up positive and said 1-2 weeks. so which do i believe? i know i shouldnt of but i iv got my hopes up! thank you xxxxxxxx
