Sealed or ported box for P3 subs?

i am looking for quality and loudness, i had kicker cvr's in the kicker ported box and they were pretty loud but not the best SQ, but i was wondering what peoples opinions were on having these in a ported or sealed box and if you have herd these subs in either box. I her P2's in a ported box and there was more SQ then my CVR's and they were just as loud ha. Any help/opinions would be great, thanks, jesse
