So, Am i being reasonable?

so, i really want an iPod touch... well first i wanted an iPOD nano but then they made this ugly little new one and I dont really want it so i switched my mind to an iPod touch because it is so much more economical beccause of all the apps it has and bla bla bla..... well my parents have generously offered to chip in $75 to whatever im going to get myself.... so the iPod touch is $229 so plus tax is$242.74 and then you take away $75 and that is $167. 74....... well i am more than happy to pay that and i thank my parents for their generous donation.... but they dont want me to get an iTOUCH... idk why they dont tell me why they just are like no get te nano bla bla bla.......... is there anyway i can try to persuade them more????? what are really good things about the itouch that might get ethem to change their mind? thanks!!!!!
