How hard is the piccolo?

Honestly, the difficulty of the piccolo depends on how your upper register is. The embouchure for the piccolo is much much tighter than the flute, and it will deff. hurt for a while when you practice. But, a lot of people (my sister and friend at school) enjoy the piccolo better then the flute. I think if you work on your upper register in your flute, you will have a MUCH easier time switching to the piccolo. Good luck!
