2006 Ford Ranger: Consistent Popping noises on sharp turning?

My wife had something similar happen to my car that she drives. We found out that the popping noise and clicking noise was from a cracked sway bar and the rear coil springs were cracked as well. Our BMW only has 46K mi. So i was surprised that there was this much damage for a car that does not get driven that often. Hope this helps.
