What goes good with iron?

I buy a lot of stuff on Craigslist and currently I'm trying to compile a nice bedroom set. I found a FABULOUS wrought iron black headboard, but what do you think would look good with that as far as dressers and nightstands? Dark wood? Black stuff? I'm hesitant to go all black but I don't know, it may look rad. Help me out here!
