Is $19k too much for a Jaguar X-Type?

as a mechanic for over 30 years, I can tell you that the Jag is a mechanics nightmare!. They aren't reliable and wouldn't give a nickel for one. They make great lease vehicles because leasing is great if you put on less then 15,000 miles a year or less and the vehicle is got a full warranty. Can't really go wrong. The residual isn't the greatest but not too bad. Buying a used one is usually buying someone elses problems that they don't want to deal with. Unless you have great warranty coverage on it, I would strongly suggest ping on it. It will cost you a fortune if you ever have to repair it for ANY reason.
