Choosing a perfect subject?

I'm planning to go to the Nau community college for two year and then transfer to Stony brook university .my topic of interest is biomedical engineering but i'm in confusion that what course should i take in Nau so as to get admission on biomedical course in stony brook.i want to have all my credit transfered over there. Basically biomedical is a engineering course and not such course is taught in Nau.Will general biology course gonna work or i need to take any engineering course during my first 2 year. please help me out .Any help will be greatly appreciated.
